I have a masters in music education and specialized in vocal performance . I conducted and was assistant artistic director for a professional children's choir in the PDX area. I conducted church choirs for 20 years and taught music in the classroom for over 10 years.

My hope is to provide a professional level choir that is faith based and both affordable and enriching.

What We Do
What We Do
Our rehearsals provide a safe place for individual
vocal growth.
We work on in-tune singing, rhythm reading and many other musical concepts. Through our music literature we sing in other languages and learn about music from other cultures. Our music literature also provides opportunity to learn history, poetry and story through song.

Brain Research is showing that singing heals the nervous system and helps with brain development. With the rise of mental health crisis among our youth, Cantare seeks to serve them a music therapy choral approach.

Choir policies –
Each singer will not miss more than three rehearsals in a session.
Each singer is expected to be kind and cooperative in their behaviors during rehearsals and performance.
